Debb came to Carleton as a student and was placed in a suite on the “accessible” floor of Glengarry House. After becoming friends with many of the students with disabilities who lived there, she began working as an attendant in September of 1988. She became Manager of Direct Services in 2004. Debb works continuously to make sure the program is running efficiently and safely for all involved. Some of her duties include completing and monitoring the client service plans, training, and scheduling all services. Debb also oversees Human Resources administration, supervises more than fifty staff, and creates documents to keep everyone organized. Clients are encouraged to stop by at any time to provide feedback, address service issues or just to chat.
