Student Wellness Ambassadors 2026-2027 Application

The Student Wellness Ambassadors are responsible for supporting student wellness through health education, initiatives, and projects while representing Carleton University and the Office of the Associate Vice President Student Health and Wellness. The incumbents will also assist with event planning and delivery, as well as navigating students to resources both on and off campus.

The Student Wellness Ambassadors will be divided into two sub-teams: Health Promotion Team (4 positions) and Wellness Desk Team (4 positions). Please review the full 2026-27 Student Wellness Team Job Description for more information.

  • Requirements

    Must be enrolled as a 3rd year standing or higher, full-time or part-time undergraduate degree student at Carleton University for the 2026/2027 academic year. Must be available to work in-person.
  • This is to note the initial preference and does not confirm the final sub-team selection.
  • You are working in a designated Wellness Team space on campus and a student shows up at the end of the day. They indicate that they are not doing well mentally and need to speak to a counsellor. They are frustrated because Carleton's Counselling Services is now closed for the day, and they are not sure what to do. They reject every resource that you suggest that could assist with their concerns and the conversation goes in circles for some time. Please describe how you would move forward with supporting this student.
